beepcore-ruby is an implementation of the BEEP core, as detailed in RFC 3080 and RFC 3081, in the Ruby programming language. You can find out more information about BEEP at http://www.beepcore.org/. You can learn about Ruby at http://www.ruby-lang.org/
beepcore-ruby was started by Dan Moniz in June 2001, and then was largely not worked on due to lack of time. Until now! Patient pestering and support has since come from Michael Granger, Nathan Droft, and Jim Greer among others.
